Senior Software Developer

LocaModa is seeking an exceptional software developer. We are looking for someone who is passionate about media and social networks to join our cross functional team of designers and developers. LocaModa is building out infrastructure to support hundreds of thousands of interactive screens deployed in public spaces around the world.

Candidates must be highly motivated, extremely organized, detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks and projects in a web 2.0 startup environment. Responsibilities will include design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, highly available and distributed applications and services.

As a candidate you should have:

• 5+ years development experience in a linux environment.
• Experience with mysql cluster, java threads, NIO, security, and JMS.
• Experience with ruby/RoR is highly desirable.
• Experience with mobile and web 2.0, social networking and/or multimedia also desirable.

Senior Project Manager

LocaModa is seeking an exceptional project manager. We are looking for someone who is passionate about media and social networks, and has a proven ability to assess customers' needs, identify requirement, define detailed schedule and project specifications, and work within a cross-functional team (design, engineering, operations, customer service, sales, marketing and business). Candidates must be highly motivated, extremely organized, detail-oriented and possess outstanding communication and social skills, as well as the ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects at the same time in a coordinator's capacity.

As a project manager, you will:

• Manage client relationships, work with a range of clients and projects including out of home media and social networking
• Design and manage project schedules
• Facilitate the final delivery of projects through all phases including strategy and design, development, quality assurance and launch
• Work closely with engineering, marketing and sales team members
• Innovate and contribute to process improvements

References and sample portfolio will be required from qualified applicants. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate superior client interaction, communication, and time management capabilities.

As a candidate you should have:

• 5+ years of experience as a project manager.
